Present: Chairperson - Julia Browne, Secretary - Dinah Sinclair Treasurer - Mike Holmes The meeting commenced at 10:00 Apologies and Chairperson address. There were no apologies Matters arising from the minutes There were no matters arising from the minutes General The forthcoming AGM meeting was discussed, actions to take before the meeting are as follows, 1, Check the bank account balance as we are awaiting a donation and a membership .Mike. 2, Count up the collection boxes and pass the totals to Mike, Completed as follows Julias pot 49.00e port supermarker 81.03e,votsi supermarket 39.09e Homeopathy centre 40.85e. A couple more pots to collect in if possible before the meeting . Dinah 3, Update the membership list and email to Mike so he can produce the contacts lists of paid up members to email newsletters and minutes.Dinah. 4,Add the information to the website and to all at the AGM about the new vets practise in Skiathos, Paula sending info to Julia. Membership was discussed and it was agreed and voted on that membership renewals will now be renewed every October 31st and in future the AGM will now be held in October due to working pressures in June. Any members that have paid up to date will now renew their membership in October 2012. This will be added to the website after the AGM. Mike. Vets visits were discussed and it was added that 2011 has been the best year so far with charity vets visits, with some wanting to return to us next season. Julia added that although we have not had a visit from George Michealis for a year he had been very helpful on the phone and with passport papers for someone wishing to take a cat from here .It was said that we should commit to another visit from George in the near future,(date to be advised) so he could come and have private consultations only. It was agreed that ASAP could not afford him to treat feral animals.It was discussed that we should allow for a further 2 vets visits between now and spring whilst considering the financial budget over the winter. Julia. Feeding was discussed and it was left that Dinah and Mike would come up with a realistic budget for dry food for the winter months. It was agreed that the three committee members were the only ones who would be able to sign out food at Takis pet food shop. It was said that Kosta Franchesqa pet food shop were selling large dry sacks of biscuits for 20 euros. We all wish to start the summer season with a good bank balance next year. Dinah and Mike to propose the amount that could be spent per month. We all agreed this would be stuck to and any overspends were taken on board personally. Meeting ended at 11 am. . Date of the next meeting will be the AGM on Saturday 29th October 2011, 13:00 at the Pleiades Hotel.
