He may also be contacted to see if he can provide suture materials and sterile drapes. Julia said that she has also received emails from two student Vets who would like to come to Alonnisos. There is also a Vet’s Nurse who will collect supplies and hopefully bring a Vet with her if she visits Alonnisos next year. Another email was received from a volunteer caring for the seal at Steni Vala who is worried about some cats who apparently are not being looked after down there. Dinah said she will go there and check the situation. Treasurer’s Report Mike read the Treasurer’s Report, which Les had prepared and handed out the account sheets. A copy of this can be provided if anyone wishes to see it. It was decided that a discussion about feeding would be left until the next meeting. WORKING GROUPSFeeding group Dinah suggested that feeding plates should be anchored to stop them moving. Also the holes in the feeders need to be made bigger as the food is not filtering through. I.T. Lyn said that she is unable to produce a new newsletter until the latest one has been completed. She also suggested a rolling newsletter with new articles being added to it regularly. Membership Craig has produced membership cards for new members at a cost of £13 for 250. It was suggested that the ASAP emergency number should be written on all the cards. Veterinary Group Julia said that the cat sent to Belgium has arrived safely. She said she has done 17 home visits since the last meeting and has received €310 in donations. Julia said she would like to spend €100 of it buying the vaccine Tricat. This was not voted on but the committee agreed that she should do this. Julia has neutered six male cats. She said that cat flu has killed 25 cats from Kitty City. There are now only 23 adult cats and 5 kittens left there. The kittens are to be vaccinated.
