An independent fund-raising group helps to raise funds in support of 'ASAP' by organising fornightly quiz evenings (€5 donation to participate), normally held at the Paradise Hotel, Patitiri, by the poolside bar between 19:00 and 21:00 , and the 100 club that awards prizes every month (held on the last Sunday of each month), at the Pleiades Hotel, Patitiri or at Rea's taverna, Megalia Mortias at 12:30 for 13:00, see Fund Raising diary for details.
This year, as on previous years, a sponsered swim was organised by Annie Basson, from the Island of Peristera, to the port of Steni Vala, a distance of around a kilometer. Below are photographs of some of the competitors as they finished.
